Brownies
My grandma sent me this nifty brownie pan with slicer and rack. As such, I've eaten probably half a pan of brownies by myself in the last 36 hours.

What is going on here?
After renewing our McAfee subscription, now all of a sudden I can't seem to right click and save pictures. This is a problem!
Mostly, I just wanted to post about my awesome brother-in-law. I have several, actually, but one of them looks a lot like Andy Serkis (Capricorn) in the movie Inkheart, so I was going to post a picture. I guess you'll just have to google Andy Serkis Inkheart if you really want to see and I'll just have to stop being lazy and use my own pictures.

Just kidding. Figured out a way around it. Anyway, seeing Jeff on the big-screen was the best part of the movie. Otherwise I thought it blew. I don't know if it's because I liked the book so much or if it was just because it was poorly put together or because Brenden Frasier still isn't my favorite actor, but it wasn't very good. Poor Helen Mirren. She had the best character from the film, but still couldn't save that movie.

Presenting...
These past few days have been full of projects at our home. First, Matt and I (mostly Matt) put together Ally's "big girl" bed Thursday night.

She has done really well the past 2 nights, sleeping the whole night through and staying in her bed. This morning, though, I went in to find her toys strewn all over the floor and she was nowhere to be found. After scanning the room, I noticed two little feet poking out from under the crib (which we left in her room in case the big bed didn't stick):

Matt also found a sink on Craigslist for $25, so he spent Friday and Saturday installing my new kitchen sink:

Hooray for stainless steel and no more nasty sink stains!
Not to be outdone, I worked on my afghan Friday night and my flip-flop quilt squares on Saturday:

I noticed while at JoAnns that the sewing machine I want is on sale for $299. Sigh. I probably should refrain from making any large purchases for a while to make sure we have enough to get by during my maternity leave. But it is $100 off and has so many fun stitches! Someday...

SNL
Thank you Neil Patrick Harris for letting me fall in love with Saturday Night Live again. I particularly enjoyed the orchestrated Doogie Howser theme song. And the single tear at the end.
